Each year all of the children from Kindergarten to Year 6 participate in the Premier’s Reading Challenge. This involves reading a certain number of books from a set list. The aim of the Challenge is to promote a love of reading. It is not a competition, but a challenge to each student to read, to read more and to read more widely.
This program encourages a greater use of our Library, including more borrowing and it motivates reluctant readers to get back into books.
